Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Salary: £20,442 - £21,189 pro rata (actual salary range: £9,379 - £9,722)
FTE: 20 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (term time plus PD days); 12.00pm – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and friendly Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in an environment where no two days are the same. A particular interest in marketing the school via our website and social media feed would be desirable.
You will:

act as the first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors

have the ability to communicate effectively, with a good telephone manner

have good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and maintain confidentiality at all times

have experience of working in an office setting

have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

have good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

have a willingness to undertake any necessary training

Freeman Community Primary School is a happy, caring community of 206 children in the village of Stowupland, near Stowmarket. We are part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust as one of eight primary schools across the Stowmarket and Ipswich areas.

Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 2 Point 2 - 4: £10.60-£10.98 per hour (£20,441 – 21,189 pro rata)
Job Term: Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 15.15pm (5.75 hours per day). 39 weeks per year (Term time + PD Days only)
Appointment Type: Fixed Term for one year initially.
Required: To start: 1st September 2023
We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic person to support children from across the whole school. The successful candidate must be able to support class teachers from Reception to Year 6 in addition to working with individuals and small groups of children. Through doing this they will assist children with their learning, enabling them to achieve the work set by the class teacher and deliver intervention and support programmes such as Beat Dyslexia and speech and language programmes. Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as support and training will be put in place for the successful candidate.
You will:

- have high expectations of children's behaviour and achievements
- possess good literacy and numeracy skills (at least GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent)

Job Title: Midday Supervisor
Salary: £10.60p/h
Appointment: Fixed Term for one year initially or to end if the child leaves
Required: to start on teh 1st September for 1.58 hours per day: 11.45am - 13:20pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks (Term time only) per year.
We are looking for a kind and caring person with a positive outlook to join our midday supervisor team to supervise a child with Special Educational Needs. Duties will include helping the child/ren as they sit and eat their meals, tidying away, supporting the child/ren with play activities on the playground and attending any first aid incidents. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage although not essential as training will be provided.
