DISABLED ACCESS

Freeman Community Primary School recognises the importance of making the school accessible to all, both in the curriculum and where possible, in all areas of the school premises and facilities.

The main working areas for both staff and pupils of Freeman Community Primary School are on ground level.  There is a ramp for wheelchair users to access the main entrance at the front of the school with double doors leading into the school.

The Reception Class is situated in its own one storey building in the playground. There is a small ramp leading to the double-doors of the building.

Children and parents will normally use the playground and the back school entrance to enter and leave the school in the morning and at the end of the day, both of which are accessible to wheelchair users.

There is a disabled parking space in the car park adjacent to the front of the building and there are also disabled toilet facilities in the school.

For future plans to improve the access to our site further, please click here to view our Accessibility Plan.

If you have any questions or need further information regarding disabled access within the school premises, please do not hesitate to contact us at 01449 612067.
